The 2018 GMA Conference, entitled Unraveling Big Data: How Marketers Use Big Data and AI to Connect with Consumers, will highlight brands and firms who have led the change to impact entire industries. Our goal for this conference is to create a forum where current topics at the intersection of marketing and technology can be discussed by leading professionals in an academic environment. In particular, the conference will facilitate discussion around how data and artificial intelligence are redefining the marketplace, the consumer experience journey, and marketing strategies for brand differentiation. With increasing competition, marketers are becoming more resourceful and embracing data analytics as an essential tool to drive a stronger connection with consumers.

The conference will feature a number of candid conversations with industry leaders, and all presentations will be off the record and closed to press. Please refrain from live social media coverage or filming of any sessions. 


FAQ

WHERE WILL THE CONFERENCE TAKE PLACE?

The conference will be held at the NYU Kimmel Center located at 60 Washington Square South - keynote presentations and networking sessions will be held in the Rosenthal Pavilion located on the 10th Floor and panels will be in designated rooms on the 9th floor. 

WHERE SHOULD I CHECK-IN?

Check-in will take place in the Lobby of the Kimmel Center.

Upon entering the building from Washington Square South turn right and walk toward the main security desk. You will see signs for the event prior to the elevator.

If you are arriving late, the lower level check-in desk may be closed and you should check-in with security and proceed to the 10th Floor where there will be a check-in table outside of the Rosenthal Pavilion. Please bring a photo ID.

WILL food BE PROVIDED? 

Coffee and light refreshments throughout the day, snacks during the networking reception, and beer, wine, and hors d'oeuvres in the evening.

DRESS CODE? 

Business casual.

DIRECTIONS:

The Kimmel Center (60 Washington Square South) is easily accessible by public transportation (A,B,C,D, E, F or M at West 4th Street; N or R at 8th St-NYU or the 6 at Astor Place). If you are traveling by car, public parking is available on West 3rd Street and on Thompson Street.
