KEYNOTE Neil Lindsay, Vice President of Global Marketing, Amazon

As Vice President of Global Marketing, Neil Lindsay manages marketing for Amazon’s consumer business, worldwide.                                                                                                                                              

Prior to joining Amazon.com in 2010, Neil was the Chief Marketing Officer at Sprint’s prepaid brands, Virgin Mobile and Boost Mobile, where he led brand, marketing, portfolio and product-line strategies for the wireless telecom division.  Before joining Sprint, Neil worked at a numbers of startups in the US and Australia and at Hewlett-Packard in Singapore and the United States.

Neil grew up in rural Victoria, Australia. He graduated from Edith Cowan University in Perth.  He has an MBA from Golden Gate University.

KEYNOTE Shan-Lyn Ma, CEO and Co-Founder, Zola

Shan-Lyn Ma is CEO and Co-Founder of Zola, the wedding company reinventing the wedding planning and registry experience by combining compassionate customer service with modern tools and technology. Zola launched in 2013 and quickly became the fastest growing wedding company in the country. Today, Zola carries over 500 brands—from registry staples to up-and-coming designers—and over 300,000 couples have used the platform to register for gifts, experiences and funds. In April 2017, Shan-Lyn and her team released Zola Weddings, a free suite of wedding planning tools including wedding websites, a customizable checklist, guest-list manager, and, of course, registry.

Before starting her company, Shan-Lyn was Chief Product Officer of Chloe + Isabel. Prior to that, Shan-Lyn was Gilt Groupe’s first Product Lead tasked with defining and evolving the core site experience. She led key new business launches, including their successful foray into mobile, launching and managing their mobile web experience and apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android. Additionally, she was Creator and General Manager of Gilt Taste, the brand’s food and wine division. Before her time at Gilt, Shan-Lyn held product and marketing roles at Yahoo!. She holds a degree in BCommerce with First Class Honours from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia, and an MBA from Stanford University.

Prior to her current role, Tanya was the Senior Brand Director for M&M’S at Mars Chocolate North America, responsible for the brand’s strategy, organization and innovation.

Raquel L. Lachman is a VP of Marketing at S’well. She is a brand marketing leader with experiences in lifestyle beverages, health & beauty and financial services in Fortune 500, startup and entrepreneurial companies. She is passionate about fitness, girls education & women's leadership and lifestyle brand marketing. Raquel has worked with early stage startups on brand and digital marketing, new product innovation, partnerships, retail and PR & communications. Before startups, she grew up at companies such as The Coca-Cola Company, American Express and BlackRock. Raquel lives and breathes brands and was selected to the Brand Innovators '40 Under 40' class of brand marketers. She received her undergraduate degree from Harvard and completed her MBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management. She is a believer in giving back and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Dana Hall School. She has previously served on the boards of Girls Inc. NYC and Girls for Gender Equity. ANJALI SATYU Senior Director, Digital Optimization at Time Inc.

Anjali Satyu is a veteran consumer marketer who loves to develop marketing strategies that are deeply rooted in data. As Senior Director, Digital Optimization, at Time Inc., Anjali works across all of Time Inc’s iconic brands to build revenue-generating experiences that leverage new capabilities to engage consumers along all touchpoints in the marketing funnel.

Anjali launched the cross-functional Test & Learn team at The New York Times, which led the Times to reach the milestone of 1 million digital subscribers in 2015. She also held positions in marketing and fundraising at Brooklyn Botanic Garden, American Ballet Theatre, and La Jolla Playhouse.

Anjali holds an MBA in Marketing and Finance from NYU Stern, an MA in Arts Management from NYU Gallatin, and a BA in Media Studies from Pomona College. In her spare time, Anjali can generally be found taking long walks and cheering on the Cowboys with her husband and baby daughter in Brooklyn.

Jared Raskin is Director of Digital Measurement Strategy at NBCUniversal. He is responsible for measurement across websites, mobile apps, and connected devices for NBC News, Nightly News, MSNBC, and Today. Prior to his 3 years at NBCUniversal, Jared worked at Weight Watchers for 8 years in consumer analytics and digital advertising sales. He holds a BBA from the University of Michigan and an MBA from New York University.

MIKE ROONEY Global Sales Learning Sales Lead, Facebook

Mike Rooney leads global sales excellence learning programs for Facebook’s Global Marketing Solutions team. He’s been with the company since graduating from Stern’s full-time program in 2013 and spent three years within the Global Sales Organization’s US Sales team, managing advertising sales teams across both the Entertainment and Travel industries. Prior to Stern, he spent five years in digital advertising sales at Google and he spent his MBA internship working on mobile strategy for Pepsico on the Gatorade brand.

PHILLIP LANDRUM Independent Film Producer | Co - Founder of Bebop Society |  Senior Consultant , Deloitte Consulting

Phillip's passion is providing products and content to underserved communities. As a creative strategist, he is tasked with helping creative projects from inception to distribution. He does this as an independent film producer (most recently working alongside Emmy Award winning journalist Reed Lindsay, for the documentary Charlie vs. Goliath) and as cofounder and creative director of Bebop Society, a startup with the goal of providing all people of all sizes with access to quality fitting clothing.

Phillip started his career in Marketing, working in the retail at TJX and entertainment industry at BET Networks and moved into working in Higher Education serving URM students at MIT. He is now at Deloitte Consulting where he works largely with businesses on their marketing and consumer strategies. He has a BS from The Wharton School and an MBA from Stern.

COURTNEY MILLER Manager, Multicultural Marketing, HBO

Courtney Miller is Manager, Multicultural Marketing for HBO, where she develops and executes 360-degree marketing campaigns targeting African-American, Hispanic, Asian-American and LGBTQ audiences.  Courtney joined HBO after attending NYU Stern; while there, she also interned at BBC Worldwide and Showtime Networks. Prior to business school, Courtney was a member of the Warner Bros. Worldwide Television Marketing division. There she supported the Social Media Marketing and Communications Operations & Strategy teams after her time spent as a West Coast Page for NBCUniversal. Courtney holds an MBA in Entertainment, Media & Technology and Marketing from NYU Stern and a BA in Sociology from Yale University.

Marcela joined the NBCU team in April 2016 and has since spearheaded exciting projects for the
company – including the recent launch of Amazon’s campaign in USA’s hit series Mr. Robot. Prior to joining NBCU, Marcela was a Director within the Partner Solutions team at Univision. She led the
ideation and execution of multi-platform tentpole sponsorships for clients such as Walmart, T-Mobile,
Procter & Gamble and Coca-Cola. She started her career at AOL Latino where she got the opportunity to wear multiple hats – from learning about sponsorships and project management thanks to a Ford- sponsored women’s empowerment site, to writing lifestyle blogs and interviewing some of Latin music’s biggest stars.

Marcela is a graduate of NYU’s Stern School of Business, where she majored in Marketing and
International Business.

KJ MILLER Co-Founder and Co-CEO, Mented Cosmetics

Kristen Jones (KJ) Miller is the co-founder and Co-CEO of Mented Cosmetics, an upscale beauty line targeting women of color. Since its launch in January 2017 Mented has taken the beauty industry by storm by unapologetically placing women of color at the forefront. The company has been featured in several publications including Allure, Cosmo, and Teen Vogue, and was hailed as having the "best nude lipsticks we've ever worn" by Essence Magazine.

Prior to founding Mented KJ spent most of her career working in retail, with a two-year hiatus to attend Harvard Business School graduating in 2014. Her immense retail and product experience spans across functions including merchandising, assortment planning, and supply chain management.

As the head of Mented's product development and fundraising efforts, KJ has overseen the launch of three successful product lines and led the company in raising its first $1M in funding. She is passionate about helping women and minorities develop their entrepreneurial visions and navigate the often murky startup world.

NICOLE BAUM Senior Marketing & Partnerships Manager, Gotham Greens

Nicole is the Senior Marketing & Partnerships Manager of Gotham Greens, a global pioneer in the field of urban agriculture and a leading regional producer of hyper local, premium-quality vegetables and herbs. The Brooklyn, NY based company owns and operates 4 rooftop greenhouse in New York and Chicago and was named one of the ‘Coolest Businesses in America’ by Business Insider.  Since joining Gotham Greens in 2014, Nicole has helped lead the company’s marketing and sales efforts and has developed key partnerships with companies such as Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group, Whole Foods Market and American Express. Prior to joining Gotham Greens, Nicole worked in Marketing for MVision, a boutique private equity placement firm. Nicole also started a wine touring company in Northern Italy and helped produce a number of pop-up food and wine events in NYC, including a weekly supper club with her chef husband. ASHIS JAIN SVP of Capital Markets, SoFi

Ashish Jain joined SoFi in May 2016 and serves as Senior Vice President of Capital Markets. He is responsible for distribution, loan sales, financing, and growing SoFi’s institutional outreach. Prior to SoFi, Ashish worked at Deutsche Bank for 13 years. Most recently, he was Managing Director and US Head of Securitized Product Sales, a role he held for 4 years and in which he interacted with some of the world’s largest institutional investors about their investment strategies and portfolios. He began his career in Rates Sales in 2004.

Ashish received a BS in Finance from Carnegie Mellon University in 2003 and he has served as a member of the Carnegie Mellon Tepper Alumni Board.

MAX NEVINS Marketing Director, Six Point Brewery

After undergrad, Max Nevins started his career in B2B marketing at a portable power distribution company. From there he jumped over to the media world, most recently as a Brand Strategist & Research Manager at the now defunct Gawker Media before it was taken down by Hulk Hogan. During that time, Max started a company exporting American craft beer to South Africa, which eventually led him to his current role at Sixpoint Brewery where he is the VP of Marketing and oversees all packaging, media, events, technology, data, sales strategy, tap room development, and more. He's currently a Stern MBA student in the Langone program and is set to graduate this December.

MAYA PROSOR VP Business Development and Partnerships, Lemonade Inc.

Maya Prosor is a founding member and VP Business Development and Partnerships at Lemonade, a licensed insurance carrier, offering homeowners and renters insurance powered by artificial intelligence and behavioral economics.

She previously worked at Powermat Technologies the world leader in wireless charging, heading all US partnerships.

Maya holds a B.A cum laude from IDC university and  is also a graduate of the Zell entrepreneurship program at the IDC.
